Working Student - Regulatory Compliance at Allianz SE (m/w/d)
Aufgaben:
Corporate Compliance within Group Compliance is responsible for the overall policy framework for Regulatory Compliance and Market Integrity, as well as for providing advice and oversight to support the Allianz Group's prevention of compliance violations in these areas.
The Regulatory Compliance Team within Corporate Compliance maintains the Regulatory Compliance framework for Allianz Group, with a focus on two core pillars. First, the team oversees regulatory change management, ensuring that new laws and regulations are identified, assessed, and implemented in a timely and consistent manner across Allianz SE and the Group. Second, the team performs compliance oversight, assessing whether effective steering and governance as well as control processes are in place across functions and entities to ensure adherence to applicable external and internal requirements.
Support regular reporting on Regulatory Change Management and compliance oversight activities to various management levels, including contributions to Board reporting.
Contribute to the updating and further development of corporate rules, guidelines, and training materials.
Support in validating and documenting Regulatory Change Management and compliance oversight entries and assessments.
Provide support for ad-hoc control and monitoring activities.
Assist in overseeing Group-wide assurance processes, including the tracking and analysis of global KPIs and KRIs.
Support the organization of Group-wide and Allianz SE exchanges, including best practice forums, alignment meetings, and training sessions.
Support the exploration and use of AI-based tools to make compliance processes more efficient and effective (e.g., for research, document review, or data analysis).
Qualifikationen:
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Law, Business Law, Business Administration, Political Science, or comparable field, ideally with a strong legal focus; an LL.M. is a plus.
Fluent in English, both written and spoken; a good command of German is an advantage.
Confident user of MS Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
Familiarity with, or a strong interest in, digital and AI-based tools (e.g., generative AI assistants); basic data or coding skills are a plus.
Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a high level of personal commitment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High affinity for digital tools and innovation, with an interest in applying new technologies and AI solutions in a thoughtful and critical way.
Organized and structured working style, with a determined and results-oriented approach.
Ability to collaborate effectively in an international environment.
Initial professional experience or internships in compliance, legal, regulatory, or related functions are an advantage.
Exposure to regulatory frameworks or to steering, governance, and control topics in a corporate environment is beneficial.
Openness to creative and innovative solutions, as well as a passion for working with forward-thinking technologies such as artificial intelligence or internal ChatGPT.
