Graphene Modeling Intern (m/f/d)
Aufgaben:
Conduct research to find a unified framework for simulating the photodetector. Integrate physical and electronic (RC) limiting factors into the simulation framework. Utilize in-house tools or open-source packages for simulation tasks. Analyze and interpret simulation results. Collaborate with the research team to refine and validate the simulation framework. Conduct literature reviews and research to stay updated on the latest developments in graphene modeling and related fields. Document research findings and prepare technical reports/ research articles.
Qualifikationen:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, or Master's in Physics, Engineering, or a related field with a strong focus on computational modeling. Background in integrated photonics and light detection technologies. Experience with Python programming language. Knowledge of COMSOL Multiphysics or similar simulation software is a plus. Passionate about conducting research and eager to contribute to the advancement of silicon light detection technologies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner. English is a must, and German is a plus.
