Master's Student (m/f/d) for Master Thesis/Project Bioinformatics at RBCT
Aufgaben:
Perform bioinformatics analyses of next-generation sequencing (NGS) data, including RNA-seq, ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq and scRNA-seq, to uncover insights into cancer biology.
Develop and optimize computational tools and pipelines for data processing and visualization.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of researchers to facilitate data interpretation and hypothesis testing.
Contribute to the preparation of research findings for publication in scientific journals.
Qualifikationen:
Enrollment in a Master's program in bioinformatics, computational biology, computer science, or a related field.
Solid understanding of data analysis techniques and statistical methods.
Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python.
Experience with NGS technologies and bioinformatics tools is advantageous.
Familiarity with Linux and high-performance computing environments is beneficial.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English; German is a plus.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary research environment.
