Student Assistant(s) for Cognitive Neuropsychology Research on Dance Projects (m/f/x)
Aufgaben:
data collection online (e.g., with LimeSurvey or similar); data collection in the lab (e.g., for behavioral as well as psychophysiological experiments, etc.); recruit research study participants in collaboration with the Flying Steps contact person (e.g., contacting potential participants, distributing flyers, etc.); recruit research study participants for lab experiments (e.g., contacting potential participants, distributing flyers, etc.); administrative duties; possibly create stimuli for experiments; data management duties; data preprocessing and analysis (including some writing/modifying scripts, mostly in SPSS, R); write literature reviews and summaries; organize scientific literature; collaborate on writing scientific papers (co-authorship is possible in case of conceptual contributions).
Qualifikationen:
current enrollment as an MSc student, preferably in Neuroscience, Psychology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (exceptionally well-qualified Bachelor students may also be considered); interest in biopsychology, neuroscience, and dance research and a motivation to learn; very good English writing, speaking, reading skills; possibly fluency in spoken German willingness to write meeting notes regularly and conscientiously; working language is English because many project members are international colleagues; experience with online survey tools; very good computer skills; a solid methods background in statistics; experience with programming (e.g., R, Matlab, Python, R) is desirable; proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, such as Word, Excel, etc.; strong organizational and communication skills, capacity to work well as part of a team; dance experience is not a must but would be a plus; familiarity with eye behavioral and psychophysiological data collection helpful but not required.
