Aufgaben:
This position offers a unique opportunity to actively shape the global quality strategy in a high-tech environment focused on test and measurement systems, software quality, and digitalization. The ITS business unit drives innovative technologies such as AI-supported testing procedures and automated testing systems, presenting exciting challenges in quality management. As an international leadership role, the position encompasses responsibility for global quality processes, interdisciplinary collaboration with engineering, software development, and suppliers, as well as strategic customer interactions. Additionally, it offers the chance to steer digital transformation processes in quality management, establish agile methods, and embed a sustainable quality culture. Quality Strategy & Matrix Management Develop and implement a quality strategy to harmonize global standards Implement a comprehensive understanding of quality across design, production, project realization, service, software, and suppliers Reorganize the quality structure with clear responsibilities and optimized interfaces Optimize and streamline the existing KPI system with realistic, end-to-end indicators for better control 2. Active Quality Assurance & 8D Process Clear responsibility for escalating and closing critical 8D reports Introduce and enforce a solution-oriented quality management approach that does not rely solely on KPIs Early involvement in key projects to proactively minimize quality risks Promote an innovative and fact-based mindset 3. Global Quality Networking & Collaboration Close collaboration with regional QM teams to identify and address local challenges early Build a stronger global quality unit to consolidate knowledge and standardize best practices Focus on international supply chains, especially with strategic partners in Asia Ensure compliance with all relevant ISO standards & audit requirements (IATF 16949, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, VDA 6.3) Avoid unnecessary benchmarking burdens through a focused, pragmatic audit approach Close collaboration with the responsible central QM area to ensure a coherent audit and certification strategy and leverage synergies Digitalization and automation of quality processes to enable efficiency gains and transparency
Qualifikationen:
At least 10 years of experience in a global quality leadership role, ideally in a high-tech industrial company with a zero-defect strategy (KAIZEN) Technical degree (engineering, quality management, manufacturing technology, etc.) or equivalent education In-depth knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 9001, VDA 6.3, Six Sigma, APQP processes Experience in leading global, intercultural teams and transforming quality structures Fact-based decision-making and analytical thinking Quality mindset and strong customer orientation Assertive to enforce sustainable quality improvements Structured & resilient to systematically tackle global challenges High adaptability to quickly adjust to new requirements in a dynamic environment Change agent who critically questions the status quo and drives sustainable improvements Very good English skills, additional languages are an advantage Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 30%)
