Additive Manufacturing technology has significant potential to improve the performance of existing automotive test and measurement solutions (such as fuel cell, battery, exhaust, and fuel consumption measurement technology) and enables future innovative systems through novel geometries and advanced combinations of materials. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: Development of innovative concepts by combining manufacturing and measurement technologies e.g. embedding fiber optic sensor technology in additively manufactured components Multi-physical simulation / analytical calculation of the design Realization and construction of demonstrators (prototypes) Testing of components / systems in the laboratory in Graz Evaluation of laboratory and simulation results in the field
